PATENT PENDING — Now Available — Built to Order
The factory sway block and wedge system loosens over time, introducing play that GPS and auto-steer can't correct for. RollerGlide is engineered to reduce hitch movement and maintain consistent alignment between the tractor and the implement — helping precision equipment perform as intended.
Watch the Difference
The factory wedge-and-sway-block system. The RollerGlide bearing-guided replacement. Same tractor architecture, two completely different contact mechanisms. The video on the left has audio — that clinking is precision leaving your field.
This is what a worn factory sway block and wedge system looks and sounds like under normal three-point movement. Every clink is the implement losing position. Every cycle is more wear on a part that was designed to wear.
Industrial cam follower bearings making continuous contact with a CNC-cut glide plate through the full arc of motion. No clinking. No play. The same factory hitch geometry — with a different contact mechanism that holds alignment instead of losing it.
Recorded on customer tractors. Real hitches. Real motion. Real comparison.
Replaces wear-prone factory components with a bearing-guided design that reduces hitch movement and implement drift.
Cam follower bearings handle vertical motion while the CNC-cut bracket geometry maintains consistent tractor-to-implement alignment for repeatable, precision-ag-ready passes.
Stable and repeatable so your GPS, auto-steer, laser, and specialty equipment can perform as intended in modern farming applications.
Chosen by Precision Ag Operators
Operators running the Carbon Robotics autonomous LaserWeeder have chosen RollerGlide for the hitch precision their equipment demands. If it’s precise enough for laser-guided weeding, it’s precise enough for your farm.
See It Work
Watch the RollerGlide Precision variant working on a current-generation John Deere 8R. Both sides moving together, bearings carrying the load, zero clinking. This is what a hitch should feel like.
CNC-cut bracket, 15,050 lb static-rated industrial cam follower, grade 8 hardware, and a powder-coated finish that matches the tractor. Bolts to factory locations. No modifications.

A precision fit into the factory 3-point arm. The cam roller carries the load while the CNC-cut plate stack locks in alignment — no friction, no slop, no surprises in the field.
Engineered for Heavy Iron
RollerGlide runs on heavy-duty industrial cam followers — 15,050 lb static rating each, 30,100 lb per set, built for shock loads. Because the bearings operate at extremely low rotational speeds in this application, wear is minimal even under heavy agricultural use.
This is not a light-duty replacement part — it’s an industrial-grade precision guidance system built for large-frame agricultural equipment.
Load ratings reflect the manufacturer’s published bearing capacities. Actual field loads in application are a fraction of rated capacity, providing a large engineered safety margin.

The RollerGlide System is engineered around a simple principle: structural components should last, and wear components should be replaceable.
Heavy-duty steel brackets are designed for the life of the tractor, while glide plates, bearings, and hardware can be serviced or replaced if needed. This approach protects your investment, simplifies maintenance, and ensures long-term performance in demanding agricultural environments.
The RollerGlide System was designed with long-term serviceability in mind. Replacement glide plate kits, bearing kits, and hardware kits are available to help keep your system performing at its best for years to come.
Instead of replacing the entire assembly, serviceable components can be replaced as needed to restore peak performance. Click to email us for pricing and availability.

The RollerGlide 3-Point System covers John Deere 8000 Series, 8R, 8RT, 8RX, 7R, and large-frame 6R / 6M Series tractors. Five variants by tractor architecture: Heritage fits the 8000 Series wheeled (8100, 8200, 8300, 8400) built 1994–1999. Classic fits older wheeled tractors — 8030 Series wheeled (8130–8530) and first-generation 8R wheeled (8225R–8360R). Precision fits current-gen 8R wheeled (8R 230–8R 410), the 8RX Four-Track Series, and the 7R Series (7210R–7310R). Trac fits all 8RT track tractors (first-generation and current-generation) plus the 8030T track series. Six fits John Deere large-frame 6-cylinder 6R and 6M tractors (2015+, North American, Category 3 or 3N hitch). See the Fitment by Model section above for the full list. If your tractor uses OEM sway block part numbers R210605, R207665, R309701, or R274328, RollerGlide is built to fit.
Easiest path: find your tractor in the Fitment by Model section. The quick rule: John Deere large-frame 6R or 6M (6-cylinder, 2015+, Cat 3/3N hitch)? Order Six (but check the DOES NOT FIT list first — 6230R, 6R 250, 6145M, 6M 220, and 6M 240 are exceptions). John Deere 8000 Series (8100/8200/8300/8400, 1994–1999)? Order Heritage. Tracked tractor (any 8RT or 8030T)? Order Trac. Current-generation wheeled (8R 230+ / 8RX / 7R)? Order Precision. Older wheeled (8030 wheeled or original 8R wheeled)? Order Classic. If your tractor isn't listed, check the OEM part number stamped on your factory sway block: R210605 or R207665 = Classic or Trac (depending on wheeled vs track); R309701 or R274328 = Precision. When in doubt, snap a phone photo of your factory sway block area and email it to orders@truepointag.com — we'll confirm the right variant for you.
Excessive wear in the factory sway blocks, wedges, and stabilizer components is the most common source of three-point hitch slop. As these wear surfaces erode over years of use, side-to-side play increases. The RollerGlide 3-Point System is designed to reduce hitch movement by replacing the factory wedge-and-sway-block setup with industrial cam follower bearings and a CNC-cut bracket assembly that maintains consistent geometry. Glide plates protect the contact surfaces and are reversible and replaceable as serviceable components.
Planter tracking depends on the combined precision of your GPS, your auto-steer, your tires, AND the mechanical connection between the tractor and the implement. You can have perfect GPS and still have implement drift if the three-point hitch has play. Reducing hitch movement is one of the highest-leverage upgrades you can make to recover precision-agriculture accuracy on a tractor that has worn factory sway components. RollerGlide maintains consistent alignment between tractor and implement so the GPS-guided pass actually reaches the ground.
Yes. The RollerGlide 3-Point System is a direct bearing-guided replacement for John Deere OEM sway blocks (R210605/R207665 for older tractors, R309701/R274328 for current generation) and the factory wedge system. It mounts to the same factory holes with the supplied grade 8 hardware. No fabrication, no modifications. Lifetime Structural Warranty on brackets and welded assemblies, 5-year warranty on bearings, limited warranty on hardware, replacement glide plate kits available.
Each unit is built to order. Once fabricated, US Ground shipping is typically 5–10 business days depending on your location. We post tracking as soon as the package leaves our shop.
The RollerGlide system is covered by a Lifetime Structural Warranty on the brackets, welded assemblies, and structural mounting components against defects in materials and workmanship. Bearings are backed by a full 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Hardware is covered by a limited warranty. Glide plates, coatings, and finish wear are serviceable wear components and are not covered, but they are reversible and replaceable — glide plate kits, bearing kits, and hardware kits are available so the system can be serviced rather than replaced. See the full warranty page for details.
Yes. The RollerGlide is a direct bolt-on replacement. It drops right in where the factory sway blocks and wedge system sit. No modifications, no fabrication, and no special tools required.
The factory wedge system is designed to wear. Over-tightening causes binding and premature wear on other components. The RollerGlide system uses cam follower bearings to handle motion and a CNC-cut bracket assembly to maintain proper geometry — with reversible, replaceable glide plates protecting the contact surfaces.
